ANVR offers her members and business partners the
option to have their company training or higher professional education for tour
managers certified.
The required audit of the educational programs is
carried out in name of ANVR by the independent certification institution Hobéon
(
www.hobeon.nl/english).
Educational institutions that hold an ANVR certification offer programs
educating to one of the defined levels in the formal competence profile for tour
managers (link to Dutch file:
http://leden.anvr.nl/_upload/NewsFiles/101209_BCP_Tourmanager_1_0-2431.pdf).
ANVR distinguishes between three different levels of educational
programs:
- A. Elaborate training program for all tour managers – aimed at the
acquisition of the required knowledge and competences in the field of managing a
(travel) tour logistically, with respect to content and regarding it social
dynamics.
- B1. Complementary educational program regarding the self-reliant management
of (travel) tours in low mountain range with moderate climates and including
distinction between summer and winter.
- B2. Complementary educational program regarding the self-reliant management
of (travel) tours in the low range mountains and the high mountains with extreme
climates and including distinction between summer and winter.
Only ANVR tour managers who have successfully completed one of these
educational programs are entitled to be enrolled in the ANVR register of
qualified tour managers. They receive the ANVR ID card for qualified tour
managers.
