De Chapter 11-status is aangevraagd door de LATAM Airlines Group voor de filialen in Chili, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador en de VS. Op de website geeft Latam aan: "We will continue to honor current and future tickets, frequent flyer points (or miles), vouchers, and gift cards held by our customers, just as we did prior to our reorganization".
Een officieel bericht van IATA hebben wij nog niet gezien.
